Not Much Progress

I admit, I haven't spent a lot of time blogging lately. School started back up and life got even more hectic. However, I did check out a book on translating Japanese characters. It's very interesting. To think that we (English-speaking folk) only need to memorize under a hundred alpha-numeric symbols (I'm counting upper and lower case, numerals and punctuation). There are hundreds of Japanese characters. With my untrained eye, many of them seem very similar. It's really a visually beautiful language.
